- Develop and implement strategies with the Company sales team in Africa.
- Supporting our current Agents and distributors to grow their business.
- Calling on existing customers and maintaining relationships and growing the business with these customers.
- Identifying new prospects and cold calling on potential customers of the company's Machines and systems. Setting and chasing ambitious sales targets.
- Develop relationships with the key role players– i.e., Consultants, Contractors, Distributors, and End users.
- Ensure regular customer visitation, making sure budgets are achieved, Projects /Quotes followed up, ensuring overall service delivery to the various customers.
- Drive positive customer service through appropriate attitude and action.
- On-site problem-solving and product maintenance and repairs.
- Expand the product and service offering within the various segments,
- Assist with training customers and colleagues.
- Achieve sales growth in line with the company-approved budgets and targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
- Fluent command of the English language (speak, read, write), Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, extensive sales experience in selling a multinational brand in the industrial market, particularly in a technical field to engineers and technical customers.
- Strong sales abilities: prospecting, opening opportunities, and closing sales.
- Experience selling to industries such as food, packaging, beverage, Oil & gas, medical, plastics, and automotive is beneficial.
