Job description:
Supporting the Specialist, PSEAH, Prevention and Monitoring, and working closely with relevant members of the organization, the Associate Specialist, PSEAH Compliance Monitoring, will support the operationalization of the
SEAH Risk Management approach, including:
- Monitoring and supporting the roll-out of the portfolio-wide verification of compliance with PSEAH and Child
Protection Code of Conduct provisions, including the continued development of an online self-assessment tool, receipt and analysis of results, engagement with Local Fund Agents (LFAs) for risk-based verification, and engagement with Principal Recipients for putting in place compliance action plans.
- As needed, supporting the monitoring of Principal Recipient PSEAH capacity assessment and capacity building plans and subsequent implementation efforts.
- Other PSEAH related duties as needed.
- Other PSEAH tasks as needed, including general support to the PSEAH Coordination Unit Administer problem tickets and major incidents, including proactive problem identification, root cause analysis, and coordination of troubleshooting with other teams.
Qualifications:
- University degree in relevant area (e.g., social science, law, gender studies, public policy).
- Demonstrated professional experience in multicultural/global environments in international development or in a humanitarian context.
- Demonstrated professional experience in PSEAH, safeguarding, protection, gender-based violence prevention or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills to communicate clearly, concisely, effectively, and diplomatically in both written and oral communications.
- Ability to communicate sensitively about SEAH across a wide spectrum of stakeholders (internally and externally).
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience of data analysis and/or online forms creation and usage (e.g., MS forms, Kobo, Google forms, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of English.
- Working knowledge of French, Spanish and/or Portuguese. Knowledge of other languages would also be an asset.
