We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, and analytically minded Sales Supervisor to manage the daily operations of an outbound sales team of 4.
Your sales team will consist of 2 employees located in Oakville, Ontario and an additional 2 located remotely in the USA. You will also partner with a Sales Manager located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to help manage sales strategy for an additional team of 4 flower sales reps based there.
This is currently a remote position, based in our corporate office in Oakville, Ontario and will report to the Director of Sales & Finance. Candidates need to be in the Oakville, Ontario vicinity as some visits to the office may be required.

The ideal candidate for the Sales Supervisor role will have a blend of the following:
Leadership/mentoring skills to help our sales representatives improve in their ability to achieve sales goals, as well as providing daily support and motivation as a team leader- An analytical mindset and project management skills that will be used to generate daily/weekly/monthly sales strategies and customer segmentations, as well as making real-time adjustments based on both quantitative and qualitative performance data
This is a highly visible position within the organization that will have aggressive performance expectations. Excellent communication skills, a strong desire for exceeding expectations, and a high threshold for accuracy is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing, coaching, and managing sales staff across multiple locations on a daily basis
- Monitoring calls/reps for quality assurance and providing feedback/tools to improve sales technique and performance
- Combining strategic company goals with historical performance metrics to develop call lists and sales scripts to maximize revenue and customer sales experience
- Balance driving the short-term sale initiatives with broader account management goals including churn reduction and lifetime value growth
- Improving daily/weekly/monthly sales reporting tools to inform future rep utilization decisions
- Partnering with Flowerbuyer function managers to drive improved communication across teams (Marketing, Customer Service, Purchasing, etc.)
- Collaborating with Sales leadership peers within Teleflora to find best practices and partnership opportunities
- Leading recruitment process when required and handling all employee relations issues
- Developing policies and training processes for new and existing employees
- Other duties as assigned
- 2+ years direct experience as an Inside Sales Supervisor/Manager at a high-volume call center
- Relentless drive to exceed goals in an independent manner by setting clear and realistic targets
- Track record of improving performance metrics such as Conversion Rates, AOV, Churn, customer loyalty, Net promoter score, etc.
- Proven leadership skills used to effectively develop, inspire, and motivate a high performing team
- Superb problem solving and process improvement skills used to identify and resolve daily issues
- Ability to gather data from various sources, create reporting, and think analytically to drive daily sales strategies
- Excellent project management, prioritization and time management skills
- Comfortable in fast paced, ever changing environment with many moving parts/responsibilities
- Software savvy in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) as well as CRM systems
- Ecommerce or flower industry experience a plus, but not required
