Medical Imaging Debt Collections Officer
  • Fixed term Contract, Full time hours
  • Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week
  • Hybrid working model
  • Hawthorn East location, close to public transport
We are currently seeking an experienced Collections officer to join our team.
We are looking for a self-motivated person who has had exposure in billing and/or collections in a health care environment. The successful candidate would thrive working in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on customer service, with confidence in communicating directly with patients, and who takes pride and ownership in their work.
Your day will look a little like this:
  • Following up patients, health funds and third parties for payment
  • Management of patient enquiries
  • Liaising efficiently with internal and external stakeholder queries
Your experience will include:
  • Previous experience in medical imaging or accounts receivable/ debt management is preferable.
  • Exposure to Medicare, Health Funds, TAC, WorkCover and DVA would be an advantage.
  • Relevant Account collection experience
  • Accounts receivable experience in a health care setting
  • MS Office and WebPas
