Our customer, Loop Lab Bio in Vienna has the ambition of building novel therapeutics that positively change the lives of people who suffer from various diseases. The company was founded in January 2023, currently employs 25 people and is building out its self-amplifying biologics (“SelfAmps”) technology platform.
We are looking for a motivated Project Manager with a “can do” mindset who shares our excitement about generating novel therapeutics in a biotech setting.
The Project Manager will report to the Head of Operations and work jointly with Scientist leading project teams.
Tasks
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage our projects with internal and external R&D functions, subcontractors and management team.
- Identify and assess risks and ensure operational impacts are minimized.
- Continuously re-assess and improve project management processes.
- Produce project status reports and provide on-going status of the project.
- Maintain effective and ongoing communications with the project team and stakeholders.
- Monitor and review product development plans and reports.
- Ensure that appropriate quality systems are applied.
- Produce project status reports and provide ongoing status of the project progress with R&D, pre-clinical and clinical teams.
Our Expectations
- Broad scientific background with an advanced university degree (e.g. molecular-biology, immunology, virology)
- Min. 3 years experience in project management preferably proven in a leading role.
- Several years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a biotechnology company focusing on international project management.
- Strong knowledge of ICH guidelines and pharmaceutical product development processes.
- Self-starter who lives drive and initiative with a performance-oriented mentality
- Great ability to work hands-on in a small team.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and social skills.
- MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook).
