Job Description
As the Document Controller you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our construction projects. You will be responsible for managing the Procore system and maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation. You will collaborate closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the timely flow of information and adherence to project guidelines. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Implement and maintain the Procore document control system to manage project documentation efficiently.
- Organise and maintain project files, drawings, specifications, and correspondence in a structured and accessible manner.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the accurate and timely distribution of documentation.
- Facilitate document review processes and track revisions, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of changes.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures and industry standards.
- Train and support team members in the effective use of the Procore system.
- Assist in resolving any document-related issues or discrepancies.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management regarding document control activities.
The Successful Applicant
Applicants for this Document Controller position will:
- Have previous experience in document control within the construction industry
- Demonstrate proficiency in using the Procore system
- Possess strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is advantageous.
You must have the right to work in the UK and will be comfortable working 5-days/wk in the London office with some occasional site visits required.
