Why Your Role Matters:
A Project Administrator provides effective day-to-day project and administrative support for the Yuwaya Ngarra-li team at UNSW in its partnership with the Dharriwaa Elders Group, Walgett to ensure all services are provided efficiently to meet the operating needs of the UNSW YN team.
Yuwaya Ngarra-li is a community-led partnership between UNSW and the Dharriwaa Elders Group, Walgett. The purpose of Yuwaya Ngarra-li is for the Dharriwaa Elders Group and UNSW to work in partnership to improve the wellbeing, social, built and physical environment and life pathways of Aboriginal people in Walgett, and to evaluate this as a model of community-university collaboration. Five core principles underpin all of the work of the Yuwaya Ngarra-li partnership, both in Walgett and at UNSW: being community-led, culturally connected, holistic, strengths-focused and rights-based. Who You Are:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
- Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
- Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
- Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications and advanced numeracy skills.
- Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
